We take pride in our commitment to small class sizes, with each class consisting of just twelve students—six from one grade and six from the other. Our unique grouping strategy includes TK and K, 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th, and 7th and 8th grades, creating an ideal learning environment where individualized attention is not only possible but profoundly effective.

Just a short walk away from our school, we have access to a fantastic park that becomes an extension of our classroom. With its expansive grassy fields, picnic tables, and a playground featuring swings, a jungle gym, slides, and monkey bars, our students enjoy a variety of activities that bring learning to life. We make the most of this incredible space by organizing a diverse range of games, from volleyball and baseball to kickball and horseshoes. Our wagon is always packed with everything needed for endless fun and camaraderie. Students spend a total of 1.5 hours per day in the sunshine and fresh air. Whether it's gathering for a picnic, engaging in friendly competition, or simply exploring, our outdoor time is designed to offer students a refreshing, enriching experience that complements their academic journey.

We understand that FOMO is real for teens, which is why we make sure our camp is an extraordinary adventure that rivals any traditional school experience. Last year, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the Catalina Island Marine Institute, where students immersed themselves in hands-on science, explored marine environments, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Our Science Camp is designed to offer both fun and educational experiences, ensuring that every moment is packed with discovery and excitement. From engaging with marine life to participating in interactive science activities, students not only learn but also form lasting friendships and gain new perspectives.

Dive into adventure with our Off-Site Surf Club, where students have the unique opportunity to learn from Rocky Carson, a five-time World Champion professional racquetball player who holds the records for men's IRF Men's Wold single titles. Held at the picturesque Doheny Beach, our Surf Club welcomes students of all ages to embrace the thrill of surfing while developing valuable skills and building confidence.
Rocky’s enthusiasm for fitness and his dedication to teaching make every session an exciting and enriching experience. Alongside Rocky is his amazing partner Jen, who brings a bright light and warm energy to the Surf Club. Jen is your go-to person for all inquiries and communications, and you can reach out to her at Surf & Kids Fit @rockycarsonrb.
The Surf Club is also a family affair! Rocky’s son Christian, a recent high school graduate with an extreme passion for surfing, joins his father in instructing, guiding, and mentoring the students. This family package deal creates a supportive and energetic environment where students receive top-notch instruction and personal attention.
Families who have joined our Surf Club rave about the program, noting the incredible surfing lessons and the strong sense of community it fosters. Parents enjoy watching their children ride the waves from the sandy shore and use the time to socialize and connect with other families.

At Guiding Our Days, we want students to learn from teachers who love what they teach.
That’s why our 3rd–8th grade program uses a Subject Specialist Rotation with three block periods each day.
- Three Daily Blocks → 75 min classes
- Math with Homeroom Teacher → a strong, consistent start to the day.
- Language Arts → reading, writing, and communication skills
- Science or SS→ rotates daily to give a balanced education
