In this engaging and hands-on class, students will dive into the world of fine arts, exploring their creativity while learning foundational techniques and the history behind some of the world’s most renowned artists and art movements. Whether you’re a beginner or have artistic experience, this course will help you build a strong foundation in both technique and art appreciation.
Students will work with three exciting mediums—watercolor, pastels, and charcoal—and learn how to blend pastels, create stunning watercolor washes, and use charcoal to add depth and dimension to their work.
Alongside these practical skills, students will study influential artists such as Van Gogh and Monet, exploring how their unique styles and techniques have shaped art history. Projects will be modeled after the masters, offering students the opportunity to draw inspiration while expressing their own creative voice.
By the end of the course, students will have developed a personal portfolio of original artwork, a deeper understanding of art history, and the confidence to continue exploring and experimenting with various artistic mediums at home.

Students will start by learning basic hand stitches—such as the running stitch—and progress to other essential techniques. Along the way, they’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to explore the world of sewing and needlework independently, creating projects that are both creative and meaningful.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the delicious world of cooking and baking! This hands-on culinary class is designed for students in grades 5–12 and will teach a wide variety of practical and creative kitchen skills. From mastering a flaky pie crust to crafting mouthwatering fillings, students will learn how to bake both classic pies and explore unique flavor combinations.
But that’s just the start! Students will also develop baking confidence by learning to make a range of breads such as cinnamon rolls, sourdough, focaccia, challah, cornbread—and even homemade crackers. Cookie lovers will enjoy creating everything from chewy chocolate chip cookies to crisp sugar cookies, and everything in between.
Along the way, students will also learn how to preserve fresh fruits and vegetables through canning, capturing seasonal flavors to enjoy year-round. In addition to baking, this course introduces foundational cooking techniques—how to chop, sauté, boil, and grill like a pro. Students will also have the opportunity to create hearty chili, comforting soups, flavorful stews, and explore endless flavor possibilities.

Candle Making: Students will experiment with wax, fragrance, color, and shape to create their own custom candles—ideal for home décor or heartfelt gifts. They’ll learn to add personal touches and understand the basics of this functional and creative art form.
Crocheting & Knitting: Whether students choose to crochet or knit, they’ll master basic stitches and work on fun and practical projects like scarves, granny squares, or even crocheted baby booties and play food.
